How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated data from Braids by Dgie, please follow these steps:

Step-by-Step Instructions

1 Open the App

Launch the Braids by Dgie mobile application on your device.

2 Navigate to Account Settings

Go to "My Account" or "Profile" section in the app menu.

3 Request Deletion

Look for "Delete Account" or "Account Settings" option and follow the prompts to submit your deletion request.

4 Alternative: Contact Support

If you cannot access the app, send an email to our support team with your account email address and request account deletion.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, profile photo
  • Address Information: Delivery addresses, postcodes, location data
  • Account Data: Login credentials, account preferences, settings
  • Appointment History: All past and upcoming appointment records
  • Order History: All order records and transaction history
  • Device Information: Push notification tokens, device identifiers
  • User Preferences: Saved preferences, favorites, and customizations

Data That May Be Retained

For legal, regulatory, or business purposes, we may retain certain information even after account deletion:

  • Transaction Records: Financial transaction records may be retained for accounting and tax purposes (typically 7 years as required by law)
  • Legal Compliance: Data required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements
  • Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you personally may be retained for analytics

Note: Any retained data will be kept in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not be used for marketing or other purposes.

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.

During the processing period, your account will be deactivated, and you will not be able to access it. If you change your mind during this period, please contact us immediately.
